How to get to Mindo from Quito:
By road: Mindo is located approximately 80 km northwest of Quito and can be reached by car or public transportation. The main road to Mindo is the Esmeraldas Route, which starts from the north of Quito and heads west (via Los Bancos). By public transportation: You can also take a bus directly from the Flor del Valle Cooperative bus station located at the Metrobus station north of Quito in Ponceano, in front of the Liga de Quito stadium.
